Junior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support digital transformation and business process optimization initiatives within a public-sector environment. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business processes and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and clarify needs.
• Create functional documentation, process maps, use cases, and business specifications.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables for development teams.
• Support testing activities, including test preparation and coordination.
• Ensure implemented solutions align with agreed business requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Initial experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of business process analysis, use cases, and data modeling.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is an asset.
• Experience within a public-sector environment is a plus.

Work Environment

• Hybrid working model.
• Minimum two days per week on-site in Brussels.
• Teleworking permitted within Belgium.
