Job Overview
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to support a major digital transformation programme focused on the development and implementation of a central case management system.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the operational management of multiple projects, ensuring effective coordination between business teams, ICT teams, and external partners while maintaining delivery quality, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage one or more ICT projects, including planning, resources, budget, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across business, ICT, and external suppliers.
- Manage project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Prepare clear and regular reporting for SteerCo, management, and governance bodies.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project outputs.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain alignment across different teams and departments.
- Ensure consistency between individual projects and the overall programme roadmap.
- Identify and resolve project-related challenges proactively.
- Coordinate priorities when managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Contribute to improving project management processes, governance, and delivery practices.
- Support change management and ensure stakeholder acceptance of major project changes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in IT/ICT project management.
- Experience managing projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, risk management, and change management.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 and/or PMO practices.
- Strong stakeholder and team coordination skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and structured approach to project management.
- Experience producing project reporting for senior management or governance bodies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience within the public sector.
- Experience in the justice/legal domain.
- Knowledge of case management systems.
- Experience working on digital transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or .NET environments.
- PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management certification.
- PMO experience.
Languages
- Dutch or French: Native proficiency
- English: Active working knowledge
