Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager/Head to lead and manage our FMCG sales operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious growth targets, building strong relationships with key distributors and retailers, and leading a high-performing sales team to success. Your deep knowledge and expertise in distributor management will be crucial for navigating the KSA market effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives for the KSA market, with a strong emphasis on distributor management.
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, motivation, and performance development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers across KSA. Leverage your expertise in distributor management to optimize distribution channels and maximize sales performance.
- Negotiate and secure favorable business development agreements with key accounts, utilizing your negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial partnerships with distributors.
- Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities in the KSA FMCG landscape, keeping distributor capabilities and preferences in mind.
- Manage P&L accountability for assigned product categories or portfolio within KSA.
- Develop and implement category management plans to optimize product visibility and share of shelf in KSA retail outlets, working collaboratively with distributors to ensure successful execution.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement within distributor partnerships and implement corrective actions. Ensure on-time product availability and manage inventory levels effectively within KSA, maintaining a smooth flow of goods through distribution channels.
- Oversee marketing and promotional activities in line with sales objectives specific to the KSA market, considering distributor capabilities and preferences.
- Develop and implement new product launch plans for KSA, ensuring seamless integration with existing distributor networks.
- Track competitor activity and develop strategies to maintain market share within KSA, while fostering strong relationships with distributors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements in KSA.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in FMCG sales management, preferably within the KSA market.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives through effective distributor management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on coaching and development.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in Arabic and English.
- In-depth knowledge of P&L management and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Distributor Management, with a proven ability to build, manage, and motivate distributor networks in the KSA market.
- Experience in category management and planogram execution in retail outlets.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Understanding of the KSA FMCG market dynamics and consumer trends.
- Experience with relevant sales and analytics tools (CRM, ERP).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
