Scaffold Erector

The Scaffold erectors responsibilities, include but not limited to:

• Installing steel frames and other materials on the rig
• Installing scaffolding on the rig according to plans and codes
• Inspecting scaffolding and scaffold components to identify issues with structural integrity or defects that could lead to injury or failure
• Assembling and disassembling scaffolding and other forms of temporary construction support structures
• Installing and repairing scaffolding, ladders, staircases and other support structures used
• Inspecting scaffolding and other structures for adequate construction and safe use
• Installing scaffolding components such as posts, braces, and brackets to support the platform structure
• Anchoring scaffolding to prevent movement 
• Constructing scaffolds from scratch using metal materials, including welding or bolting components together

10 Years offshore experience required

This position is a contract position which includes a rotation of 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off.
