About the job Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
Purpose:
Responsible for own hand sales in order to meet monthly targets.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Selling scheduled products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Engaging with customers on a commercial level on product support
- Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to high potential unallocated customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Qualifications and experience:
- Matric
- Diploma/Certification in Sales
- 1-2 years experience in the sales environment
- Previous experience with PDA Repwise system or similar
- Experience in sales or working in the pharmaceutical environment is highly advantageous
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license
