About the job Market Insights Strategist
Purpose:
Work closely with leaders across R&D, marketing and digital marketing teams to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
Use advanced data modelling, predictive modelling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into research studies, strategies, tactics and initiatives that will drive business outcomes. The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems in the healthcare industry and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Use advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Design and build technical processes to address business issues
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions, key operations and performance metrics
- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualization and communication deliverables
- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, R&D, marketing and digital marketing teams
- Market segmentation and analysis with recommendations to drive consumer marketing performance and consumer conversion rates performance
- Identify traditional consumer marketing and digital marketing opportunities
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your functional areas and design/implement solutions to meet these needs
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Science/Data Science/Data Analytics/Mathematics or Applied Mathematics/Engineering/Computer Science
- 5 years experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
- 5 years working with BI tools
- Must have experience in data science, statistical analytics and experience in understanding the business requirements and customer journey
- Experience using analytics techniques to deduce insights which contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
- Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing market insight tests/experiments, analysing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units
- Working knowledge of data mining principles: mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources
- Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
- Experience and knowledge of data science and statistical modelling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, predictive analytics, attribution modelling etc.
- Deep insight into consumer behaviour
- Experienced in mapping customer journeys
- Experienced in leveraging insight from digital marketing analytics
- Expert capabilities utilising MS Power BI and associated DAX capability
- Thorough working knowledge of Python
- API integration expertise
- Experience with testing tools e.g. Adobe Analytics
- Presentation and Communication skills
