Customer Services Team Leader
About the job Customer Services Team Leader
Key purpose:
To manage supervise planners, internal sales coordinators and cash sales personnel.
Duties and experience:
- Issue weekly production schedules for production requirements.
- Plans are up to date and always showing an accurate reflection of what is running.
- Plan reflects all job delays.
- Planning information prepared for review against actual production submitted by plants.
- Sending communication, when required, on priorities that should be loaded onto trucks if requested by relevant sales manager
- Ensuring that adequate buffer levels are always in place.
- Secure the necessary moulds before scheduling the new production run for the plants.
- Placing orders with external & internal suppliers and following up the execution of the order.
- Coordinating internal movement of stock
- All codes to be linked.
- Manage buy ins and pricing regarding satellites
- Enough buffer levels as per the planning system and history of sales.
- All plans are signed off and sent out timeously each week
- Customer orders captured correctly, and deliveries scheduled efficiently, back order up to date
- Receive sample requests from salespeople, delegate to the relevant planner and sample is sent by planner
- Weekly meetings with Supply Chain Executive
- Done on the first week of month
- Slow moving / Dead stock Report
- Weekly report detailing stock movement
- Monthly meeting to discuss action taken
- Codes loaded correctly
- Old codes removed
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
- Computer Literate
- SAP experience
- Advanced excel
- Strong administration skills with analytical ability
- Logical, systematic and organised approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Assertive, enthusiastic and motivated
- Highly accurate and pays attention to detail
