About the job Junior QA Assistant

Key purpose:

Assist in ensuring that legislation is complied to, assist in ensuring that the overall quality of the Product is of a high standard and assist with the management of stock.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Requesting of COAs and Batch documents from Third Party Manufacturers
  • Liaising with the procurement team and updating the Sample receipt and release tracker to note stock arriving
  • Liaising with the distributor on the arrival of stock
  • Liaising with the Distributor and updating of the sampling plan once a new launch takes place
  • Visually inspecting stock on import and the creation of release documents
  • Updating of smartsheets to reflect stock arriving at the Distributor and Samples being received at the laboratory
  • Document all samples that need to be sent back to the Distributor as retention samples
  • Filing of all Release forms, COAs and Batch Documents as they are receipted and reviewed
  • Assisting with the review and update of the Quality Management System, including Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Process
  • Requesting working standards when the Laboratory is running low
  • Arranging API from the manufacturer for the Post importation testing of Products
  • Arranging of Columns for the Post importation testing of product
  • Arranging for the courier of samples, Technical Complaint replacements and Product for QA, Regulatory, Procurement and New Business
  • Checking of all damaged product
  • Request and Review of all PQRs annually
  • Request and review of all stability and validation data annually
  • Assisting with the data preparation for the Annual management review meeting
  • Assisting with the mock recall process annually
  • Assisting the procurement team with tender applications, including printing of tabs, Filing, completing forms, arranging, and packaging of samples, courier of the application and samples
  • Updating of artwork files as new manufacturers are added, amendments are approved, or artwork is changed internally
  • Updating the artwork tracker to reflect only the latest artwork
  • Assist with Vendor Audits

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Experience in Quality Assurance would be advantageous
  • Experience in Production advantageous
  • Experience in Self inspections and Third-Party Audits advantageous
