Operation Manager
About the job Operation Manager
Key purpose:
To manage customer services, meet and exceed business objectives and ensure the consistent achievement of all third-party logistics KPIs. The Operations Manager must be able to develop new or improve processes, be able to document and train staff, build reports, and analyse data, as well as communicate, instruct and work together with our distributor to ensure all SLAs are met.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Train and develop staff.
- Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
- Document and sign off on processes.
- Be the first point of contact between the company and the distributor.
- Give direction or set priorities for the distributor.
- Ensure that all KPIs are within SLA.
- Communicate or resolve any exceptions to the SLA.
- Escalate urgent matters.
- Build new reports or dashboards (Smartsheet and Power BI)
- Maintain current reports and dashboards (Smartsheet and Power BI)
- Analyse the data and make informed decisions.
- Streamline work for enhanced performances.
- Automate processes to free up or save time.
- Provide support to other departments in the organisation.
- Escalate unresolved matters.
- Report and find solutions for issues.
- Communicate and keep departments updated.
Qualifications and experience:
- Matric
- Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Operations Management Qualification
- 2 Years Supervisory/Management Experience
- 3 Years Warehouse Experience
- Pharmaceutical experience advantageous
