Purpose:

Work closely with leaders across sales, prescription, marketing, and engineering teams to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions to maximise the return on sales, prescription, and marketing investment.

Use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into research studies, strategies, tactics, and initiatives that will drive business outcomes. The right person for the job will apply their comprehensive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems in the healthcare industry and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams, and business units.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Use advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
  • Design and build technical processes to address business issues
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions, key operations and performance metrics
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualization and communication deliverables
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, sales, prescription, marketing and engineering teams
  • Market segmentation and analysis with recommendations to drive brand performance
  • Identify sales, marketing and business development opportunities
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your functional areas and design/implement solutions to meet these needs
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company
  • Continuously improve reporting through quarterly Kaizen reporting & recommendations

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Science/Data Science/Data Analytics/Maths or Applied Mathematics/Engineering/Computer Science
  •  2 years experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • Minimum experience of 2 years working with BI tools
  • Must have experience in data science, statistical analytics, and experience in understanding the business requirements and customer journey
  • Experience using analytics techniques to deduce insights that contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue, and other key business outcomes
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing market insight tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units
  • Conduct Full-Time Equivalence (FTE) assessments to optimize field force structure and provide recommendations to drive operational excellence and efficiency
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on-premises and cloud-based data sources
  • Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
  • Experience and knowledge of data science and statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, predictive analytics, attribution modeling etc.
  • Experience working with and creating dashboards and reports using all relevant data to inform decisions
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experienced in mapping customer journeys
  • Expert capabilities utilising MS Power BI and associated DAX capability
  • Thorough working knowledge of Python
  • API integration expertise
