Primary Purpose

To ensure that the insurance requirements of prospective and/or existing insurance clients are identified

and met, and to keep the Kayser Baird brand promise of meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Minimum Requirements

o Matric pass (50%+)

o Computer literacy

o Mathematical literacy

o Between the ages of 20 – 35

If the candidate has worked in the insurance industry, they may not be aware that they were

previously appointed as representatives and have a DOFA. To check if they have a DOFA, candidates

ensure that they arrive at work on time

o Tattoos above the neckline or any visible tattoos that are racist, sexist or extremist in nature

o Facial piercings and/or excessive ear piercings

o Young children unless they have a solid support structure

o Poor time management skills. Late arrivals will NOT be tolerated.

Are they prepared to study further?

In line with FAIS requirements, further studying may be required, which will take up some of their

personal time. There will also be ongoing product, systems and compliance-related training.

o Salary

The general salary bracket for our junior positions is between R15 000.00 – R18 000.00 CTC per

month.

o Benefits

Successful candidates are eligible for the following benefits after a 6-month probation period:

- Company uniform to the value of R5500.00, which will be replaced every 18 months

- Kayser Baird Provident Fund

- Payment of studies and exams required for the position

Interviews are generally conducted in a group of 2 – 6 candidates, who will be interviewed by the General

Managers. Short-listed candidates will then be interviewed by the directors. Thereafter, the General

Managers and Directors will meet to discuss further.
