About the job Sales Manager
Purpose:
Responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, recruiting and training sales staff and running the sales office operations daily.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a sales team of up to 15 team members.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Increase customer base by meeting/exceeding monthly, weekly, daily sales budgets.
- Constantly working on filling the lead funnel (lead generation) for the branch.
- Recruitment and selection of amazing sales brokers, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales brokers.
- Continuously developing your sales team through training, motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Analyse sales, revenue and expenses reports with management team – constantly aiming for a profitable branch.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Run daily operations of sales branch.
Experience and qualifications:
- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field OR
- 2 – 5 years of Sales Management experience.
- Hospitality Sales is highly advantageous
- Computer knowledge, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Committed to continuous sales skills training.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and having a healthy attitude to all fellow employees.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense – passion for sales.
