About the job Industrial Relations Consultant
Duties and responsibilities:
- Chairing of Disciplinary inquiries,
- Ill health and poor work performance consults,
- Retrenchment. wage negotiations, Union meetings etc
- Facilitating group sessions to address and improve communication, motivation, inspiration, mentoring, identifying personality profiles, addressing the culture atmosphere in the workplace, improving relationships amongst employees and employer, canvassing employee concerns/ issues, discussing the best possible remedy with managers/ supervisors to these concerns,
- Intuitively knowing people and being able to bring out the best in others
- Being able to inspire and motivate others
- In order to address workplace concerns between employees and employers.
Qualifications and experience:
- Recent Graduate with either a Diploma or Degree in Law, Human Resources or Industrial and Organisational Psychology
- Valid Driver's License
- Assertive and proactive individual who can think on their feet
- Good interpersonal skills and good understanding of people
- Good job ethics in that he/she would be required to eventually perform much of his/ her
- functions without being supervised.
- Definitely an extremely positive attitude a priority
- A dedicated person who does what it takes to get the job done
