About the job Logistics Coordinator

Reporting to the Regional Executive, the successful applicant will effectively manage the Production, Planning, FG store and the flow of stock in and out of the store as well as managing the Distribution team to endure it runs efficiently and effectively to delight our customers. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Receiving and verifying FG stock and secondary packaging
  • Ensuring timeous and correct distribution of products
  • Solving problems and stock discrepancies identified
  • Monitoring of stock levels and ensuring timeous supply of stock to Customers
  • Ensuring stock is handled correctly
  • Monthly stocktaking
  • Managing of FG Stores and Distribution team
  • Managing the fleet (internal trucks and drivers)
  • Planning function (inter-branch and production)


COMPETENCIES

A minimum of a Matric, Supply chain or Logistics qualification advantageous

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Stores Supervisor or Management experience essential

Must have some Distribution and/or transport experience.

Intermediate excel

Experience on SAP or similar ERP system advantageous
