About the role
We are looking for a driven and well-connected Field Sales Representative to help us grow our client base by representing our company at industry events, conferences, and through personal networking. This is a contractor role ideal for someone who thrives on in-person interactions, understands the IT services landscape and the Danish market, and has a strong track record of closing deals without relying on traditional outreach.
What you’ll do
- Represent Itekako at industry and networking events and conferences, building relationships and identifying potential clients
- Proactively generate leads through personal network, industry events, conferences, and in-person interactions
- Qualify leads according to BANT or similar
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align offerings with client needs and provide tailored IT service solutions
- Present our software development services to potential clients, highlighting our engineering expertise, project approach, and relevant case studies to demonstrate how we can build tailored digital solutions
- Collect and report information on market trends, competition, and customer needs and provide feedback to the internal stakeholders
- Act as a brand ambassador, contributing to marketing and business development efforts
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in field sales, preferably in IT services or outsourcing
- Strong presence at industry events and the ability to independently build meaningful connections
- Existing personal network within the tech/startup/enterprise community in Denmark
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex services
- Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Experience collaborating with delivery teams to scope custom solutions
