Job Description Summary

DC & IT Support position works under the supervision of IT & DC Manager. He/she is responsible for supporting the IT department in all day-to-day IT & DC-related activities.

Job Responsibilities

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

Document Control

Maintain quality control of documents across the business

Control and Record Incoming and Outgoing documents as per the established process

Management of Document Revisions

Active role in project documentation delivery

Develop Templates where applicable and their revision continuity

Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents and digital signatures

Establish and maintain record retention timelines

Prepare/compose official communication through letters and emails

Ensure company licenses and supporting documents are maintained and updated across subscription portals

Log and manage Project Archives

Monitor and review daily digital file transactions across active projects, and escalate for corrective treatment measures where necessary

Assist the Business Development Team in recording Project Proposals, Notifications, and content distribution

Scanning of incoming data for malware and threats before recording on distribution servers

Must have expertise in working with Document Management systems such as SharePoint and Collaboration platforms such as Aconex 2

Infrastructure (Level 2)

Proactive maintenance of Hyper-V virtual server environment

Technical expertise in handling HP Servers

Management of Security Framework Firewall, End-point security

Management of Disaster Recovery solutions

IT Support (Level 2)

Knowledge in providing technical support in AEC/BIM Industry

Technical support of Microsoft and MAC environment

Technical support of Autodesk products

Technical Support on WAN/LAN and Wi-Fi networking environments

Logging and processing support calls

Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, multi-function, and handheld devices

Technical support of Microsoft 365 cloud platform

Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software

Maintaining records of software licenses and renewals

Management of New User and User exit IT protocols

Analyses and deployment of software upgrade and security patches

Awareness of PABX systems, Access Control, and CCTV systems

Management of Company subscriptions on Authority portals

Escalate IT Support cases to the IT manager where necessary


Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements

Must exhibit a positive/professional attitude, ability to work independently and with a team

Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with great attention to detail

Ability to organize and utilize time to complete work within given deadlines

Ability to adapt to changes in the workplace and priorities easily

Ability to learn new document and project management systems Minimum Experience 2-3 Years (AEC Industry preferred)

Minimum Qualification:  Bachelor's Degree. A Degree in Computer Sciences is preferred

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
