Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Red Hat Certified Instructor (RHCI) to join our elite team of trainers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related technologies, a passion for teaching, and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions to technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver official Red Hat training courses to IT professionals, corporate clients, and academic institutions.
- Customize training programs to meet specific client needs and learning objectives.
- Facilitate hands-on labs, real-world scenarios, and interactive sessions to reinforce learning.
- Stay current with Red Hat technologies, certifications, and best practices.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to enhance course materials and lab environments.
- Mentor learners pursuing Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, and RHCA.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
- Support marketing and sales teams in promoting Red Hat training offerings.
- Maintain RHCI status through continuous learning and certification.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Red Hat Certified Instructor (RHCI) credential.
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in Linux system administration and enterprise open-source technologies.
- Proven track record of delivering Red Hat training across various domains (e.g., RHEL, Ansible, OpenShift).
- Deep understanding of Red Hat products and services, including system configuration, automation, and containerization.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
- Ability to adapt training delivery to different learning styles and technical levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for on-site training engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Additional Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, RHCA, EX407, EX280).
- Experience with other enterprise Linux distributions and open-source platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to create multimedia and interactive training content.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker).
- Experience in course development, examination, and assessment.
