About This Position
We are seeking a highly driven and proactive Strategic Operation Assisant intern to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a forward-thinking individual with a background in either engineering or business school. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, adept at problem-solving, and always asking, Whats next? How can we improve? How can we accelerate? This person will be instrumental in driving change management, leading initiatives, and supporting the general manager by taking on 40-50% of their workload within the next year, depending on their level of seniority.
Responsibilities
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans. Contribute to the execution of key initiatives and monitor progress.
- Operational Assistance: Help manage daily operations, ensuring projects and tasks are completed efficiently. Assist in identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Executive Support: Provide administrative support to the General Manager and other executives, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating communications.
- Lead Management: Oversee and coordinate various projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with the companys strategic goals.
- Project Coordination: Support the management of cross-functional projects. Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely communication of updates.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to foster a collaborative environment. Assist in ensuring alignment and cohesion in achieving company-wide objectives.
- Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives across the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Public Speaking and Representation: Represent the company at events, meetings, and presentations. This may involve public speaking and effectively communicating the companys vision and objectives.
- Documentation and Proofreading: Prepare high-quality documentation, including credentials, proposals, and articles. Proofread and ensure accuracy and consistency in all written materials.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve processes and accelerate workflows, removing obstacles and finding innovative solutions.
- Workload Management: Reduce the general managers workload by taking on key responsibilities, ensuring efficient delegation and execution of tasks.
Requirements
As an A-player, you will be/have:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in business administration, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Interest in Technology: A keen interest in technology and digital transformation. Familiarity with our technology stack, including Drupal, Magento, PHP, and WordPress, is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages and web development platforms such as Drupal, Magento, PHP, and WordPress. Ability to support technical projects and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think strategically and contribute to the execution of key initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with team members and external partners.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
