Our client:

Our client is a global leading Pharmaceutical Company. They are looking for a high caliber Product Manager / Senior Product Manager to join their energetic team.

Your role:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for assigned product groups, including strategic management of the Nutrition product portfolio in line with company objectives.
  • Analyze market conditions in existing and potential segments, and manage new product and existing product life cycle to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Work with creative and media agencies to devise effective marketing campaigns, assume overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity, and drive the plan and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Determine and manage resource utilization and budget, work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing targets are achieved, and maintain and enhance business relationships with distributors, key chain stores, retail shops, and pharmacies to maximize business opportunities.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to facilitate executions and deliver business goals, and build regional and global team networks to access updated product and scientific information and new product development projects.
  • Prepare for product launch plans, evaluate the practicality and potential of new products, conduct market assessments, and develop a positioning and communication strategy.
  • Identify sales potential for long-term plans, prioritize new products based on market data and situation analysis, and develop launch plans for new products.
  • Build KOL endorsement and advocacy by identifying KOLs, developing excellent cooperation and coordination with sales functions, and conducting advisory boards, clinical studies, speakers, and symposia according to marketing strategy.
  • Provide professional development and training for sales teams by maintaining and upgrading product knowledge, attending medical conventions and KOL interactions, and building and maintaining global and regional networks and relationships.
  • Lead and coach the team to achieve business targets, manage performance vs. plan, and provide support and direction to direct reports to ensure successful completion of assigned work.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate in Dietetics or bachelors degree in science (Food & Nutritional Science, Biochemistry, Biology or Nursing preferred) / Business Management or related disciplines;
  • At least 8 years marketing management experience, at least 3-4 years in Nutritional products/ Health supplements / OTC product; ideally from sizable nutrition / pharmaceutical company;
  • Marketing experience of pharmaceutical /nutrition are essential.
  • Solid marketing management experience.
  • Strong project management skill, analytical skill and problem solving skill;
  • Independent and able to work under pressure.
  • Mature, self-motivated and has good interpersonal & people coaching skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English; familiar with MS office.
