Assistant Nursing Officer of NICU

The Assistant Nursing Officer for NICU is a key member of the hospital clinical team. He / She delivers safe, competent, individualized patient centered holistic care to an optimum level, by utilizing nursing process.  Is part of the medical team who attends to neonatal patients with critical conditions, assist physicians and provide support to the patient’s family

Education and Experience profile

• Diploma in General Nursing or Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing from a recognized Institution essential
• Registered with Uganda Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Must have Post Graduate Diploma in Neonatal Critical Care/Pedicatrics
• At least 1 year of experience as Assistant Nursing Officer
  
• Experience required in Critical Care or equivalent
