Senior Consultant of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs)

The Senior Consultant of ARTs will be mainly responsible of the Sub-Unit, for what concerns the work shifts, the services delivered to the patients and quality of care. They will focus on the development and maintenance of assisted reproductive sub-unit, where will be also the opportunity to develop new and innovative services and this is actively encouraged and supported. The Senior Consultant of ARTs will attend periodic meetings with the Head of the Unit, other gynecologist, geneticists and anesthetists to choose the best service and solution to offer to each customer.The Senior Consultant of ARTs will have outstanding clinical and teaching skills. Furthermore, compassion, respect and integrity are just some of the personal attributes required.

Education and Experience profile:

• A MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University
• A M.Med. in Obstetrics & Gynecology (or its equivalent)
• Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
• Minimum of nine (9) years of work experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology of which at least five (5)  in ARTs field
