Head nurse (Principal Nursing Officer) of Medical Area

The Head Nurse (Principal Nursing Officer) of Medical Area  (General Medicine, Cardiology, Cath-lab, Infectious Disease, Dialysis, Endoscopy, Psychiatry & Mental Health, Dietology & Nutrition) ) is a key member of the hospital clinical management team whose primary role is to focus primarily to oversee all nursing care in the assigned areas. The incumbent will ensure transparency in all matters pertaining to facility.

Education and Experience profile:

• B.Sc. Degree is essential
• M.Sc. in Nursing or Specialty Area is an advantage
• Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council
• Post Graduate Diploma in Health Services Management or Management
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of working experience in any area of medical nursing
• At least eight (8) years of experience as Clinical Manager
