Assistant Nursing Officer of CCU

The Assistant Nursing Officer of CCU is a key member of the hospital clinical team. He / She delivers safe, competent, individualized patient centered holistic care to an optimum level, by utilizing nursing process. Provides general and specialized nursing care in the CCU units. Responsible for the clinical care of patients while admitted to the CCU.  Evaluates patients and ensures that the clinical expectations and performance in the CCU resulting in excellent outcomes.

Education and Experience profile:

• Diploma in General Nursing or Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing from a recognized Institution essential
• Must be registred and licenced by the Uganda Nursing and Midwifery Council
• A certificate in Critical Care will be an asset
• Experience required in Coronary Care, Cath Lab or equivalent
