Medical Officer of Radiotherapy Unit

The Medical Officer of Radiotherapy Unit will be involved in the care of the patients within the Radiotherapy Unit. They will perform guard shift with the cooperation of a Specialist Medical Officer or a Consultant. They will conduct physical examinations, take patient medical histories, interpret the results of diagnostic tests and cooperate to plan and perform the radiation treatment. They will also cooperate to coordinate patient care with other specialists within ISHU. Participation in research activities and health data collection will be mandatory.
Education and Experience profile:

• A MBChB. or its equivalent from a recognized University.
• Can be a general practitioner, or still attending the final completion M.Med in Radiotherapy. 
• Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
