Medical Officer of Oncology and Onco-hematology

The Medical Officer in the Oncology & Onco-Hematology will assist in the management and care of patients with cancer and blood disorders under the supervision of senior medical staff. This role involves patient assessment, daily monitoring, treatment support, and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings. The Medical Officer will also be involved in clinical research, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Education and Experience profile:

• A MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University
• Can be a general practitioner, or attending the M.Sc. in Oncology or equivalent
• Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
• Has less than three (3) years of Hospital activity and experience in a general, regional referral or national referral hospital
