Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform repair and maintenance tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
• Install and maintain equipment and machinery as needed.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the facility manager to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist in managing and maintaining inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Facility Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices.
• Proficiency in conducting repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
