Senior Consultant of ENT

The Consultant of ENT will be mainly involved in the care of the patients admitted in the sub-unit; they will be responsible for ENT surgical activities, including OPD Ambulatories and all surgical screening and evaluating procedures for in- and out-patients. The Consultant autonomously prescribes diagnostic test and therapies. The Consultant of ENT Surgery will have outstanding clinical and teaching skills. In addition, he/she will assist the Head of Unit to apply all the procedure to minimize the risk of infections in accordance with Infection Prevention and Control Service and Quality & Safety Department.

Education:

• A MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University
• A M.Med. /PhD in ENT (or equivalent)
• Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council

Experience:

• Minimum of nine (9) years of work experience in a general, regional referral or national referral hospital
