Senior Consultant of Urology

The Senior Consultant Urologist will provide expert-level care in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Responsibilities include performing advanced surgical and non-surgical procedures, consulting on complex cases, and leading urological services to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The role also involves mentoring junior staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in urology, with a strong background in patient management and a commitment to advancing urological healthcare practices.

Education:

• A MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University
• A M.Med. in Urology (or equivalent)
• Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council

Experience:

• Minimum of nine (9) years of work experience in Urology
