Audiologist
About the job Audiologist
The Audiologist will be tasked with diagnosing, assessing, managing, and treating hearing problems and balance disorders, discussing symptoms with patients and documenting treatment, working both in the OPD and in the wards. They will also evaluate and manage individuals with hearing, speech, and related disorders, including providing auditory training and fitting hearing aids. The specialist may also research the causes and treatment of innovative methods for preventing and treating hearing loss.
Finally, he/she will apply all the procedure to minimize the risk of infections in accordance with Infection Prevention and Control Service and Quality & Safety Department.
Education and Experience profile:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy from a recognized University or Institution.
- Certificate or Post Graduate Diploma in Audiology from a recognized University or Institution.
- Must be registered and licensed (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Allied Health Professional Council.
