Optometrist

The Optometrist is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, management, and monitoring of refractive errors, binocular vision disorders, and selected ocular conditions within the scope of optometric practice. The incumbent provides comprehensive vision care services for pediatric and adult patients and collaborates closely with Ophthalmologists, Ophthalmology Clinical Officers, Audiologists, OPD Ophthalmic Nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The Optometrist supports outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitation services and contributes to the delivery of high-quality eye care in accordance with ISHU standards and evidence-based practice.



Qualifications & Experience requested:

• Bachelor's Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and practicing license with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda or other recognized regulatory authority
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical optometry experience.
