Assistant Nursing Officer of Imaging Department

The Assistant Nursing Officer is a key member of the hospital clinical team. Both diagnostic, therapeutic and Interventional Radiology nurses delivers safe, competent, individualized patient centered holistic care to an optimum level, by utilizing nursing process. Responsible for the management of patient care during diagnostic and minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to treat a wide array of cardiovascular, neurovascular, and peripheral vascular conditions. Is directly responsible for care of the patient during procedures and indirectly responsible through coordination and information sharing of both pre- and post-procedure care.

Education and Experience profile:

• Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent from recognized institution
• Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council 
• At least three (3) years of experience in big hospitals (at least RRH or private facilities), in Uganda or abroad.
