Head Nurse of Surgical Area

The Head Nurse of Surgical Area (Surgical wards, OTs, and CSSD) is a key member of the hospital clinical management team whose primary role is to focus primarily to oversee all nursing care in the assigned areas. The incumbent will ensure transparency in all matters pertaining to facility.

Education and Experience profile:

• B.Sc. Degree in Nursing is essential
• Post Graduate Diploma in Health Services Management or Management or equivalent
  
• M.Sc. in Nursing or Specialty Area is an advantage
• Must be registered with Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council (or meeting the requirements for registration)
• Minimum  fifteen (15) years of working experience in any area of surgical nursing
• At least eight (8) years as Clinical Manager
