Head of Pharmacy Unit

The Head of Pharmacy will be responsible for managing pharmacy services within the hospital, for providing a safe, efficient drug distribution service, for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary and developing and maintaining a clinical pharmacy service.

Education and Experience profile:

• A B.Sc. Degree in Pharmacy or its equivalent from a recognized University
• A M.Sc. in Pharmacy or its equivalent 
• Must be registered  (or meet the requirements for registration) to the Ugandan Pharmacy Council
• Minimum of six (6) years of work experience as Pharmacyst in a reputable private organization or in the Public Service
• Has previous documented management experience in healthcare facilities
• Scientific research titles in Pharmacy or related sectors will be an asset.
