About the job Consultant of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs)
The Consultant of ARTs will be mainly involved in daily work in the field of competence, but they will also cooperate at the guard shift in unit but and will take part to the work shift in the OPD Clinics belonging to the Unit. They will coordinate patient care with other specialists within ISHU. The Consultant of ARTs can also attend periodic meetings with the Chief of the Unit, other gynecologist, geneticists and anesthetists to to offer the best care to each customer. The desired Consultant shall be a blend of technical skills and positive personal attributes. The Consultant of ARTs will also have outstanding clinical and teaching skills. Furthermore, compassion, respect and integrity are just some of the personal attributes required.
Education and Experience profile
- A MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- A M.Med. in Obstetrics & Gynecology (or its equivalent).
- Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration) to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
- Minimum of nine (9) years of work experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology .
- Demonstrated professional experience of at least 3 (three) years in the Ugandan Healthcare System.
