The Nurse Supervisor - Coordinator of Bone Marrow Transplant Centre is a key member of the hospital clinical management team whose primary role is to coordinate the evaluation and preparation of patients for HSC transplantation, cellular therapies and long-term management of patients post treatment. Is responsible for coordinating patient care across multiple areas such as the outpatient clinics, the inpatient nursing units and the community, in order to provide continuity of patient care across settings. The incumbent will ensure transparency in all matters pertaining to facility.
Education and Experience profile:
- B.Sc. Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/University essential.
- Post - graduate cancer qualification essential.
- Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- At least ten (10) years hospital experience as a registered nurse, minimum six (6) years clinical experience in oncology nursing.
- Experience in Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant or Hematology is preferred.
- Experience with clinical research or transplant contracting is preferred.
