JOB DESCRIPTION

Initiation

Take handover of the project from the Sales and Solution team develop complete understanding of the scope, terms, and agreements

Prepare PS2 schedule along with PMO and share it with all stakeholders.

Conduct Project EKOM along with relevant stakeholders

Value engineering to make the solution more cost effective, robust and adds value to the customer.

Planning


Monitor detailed engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) and ensure adherence of the DAP & FSD approval from customer as per schedule

Ensure stage-wise adherence to project schedule

Prepare Risk register associated with project

Conduct Monthly/Fortnightly/Weekly/Daily reviews with customer

Prepare the Manpower plan, its budget and getting it approved from Program Manager/HOD

Prepare budget under GL codes and getting its approval from Program Manager/HOD

Submit compliance sheets to HRBP

Installation & Commissioning (Execution)


Adherence to Q Gate control for project execution

Review and communicate with site manager/engineer for progress at site
Ensure smooth integration of hardware & software, throughout the project life cycle

Review project budget frequently and monitor the plan vs actual allocated budget to mitigate the difference

Address site issues and eliminate the bottleneck condition

Visit sites as per the requirement of project phase

Giving complete handover of project to Site Incharge

Monitor adherence to on-time installation & commissioning of project as per schedule

Achieve committed performance of system.

Monitor the snag list liquidation and addressing customer grievance/concerns

Catalyse the sign-off from customer and handover the system with relevant training & documentations

Monitor the overall handover of the site to after sales/support team with all relevant documents

Take initiatives to correct the design issues or any unforeseen issues during installation wherever possible

Prepare mitigation plan for deficit between Plan vs Actual progress
Team building and tasks allocation in most efficient way with optimum resource

Resource planning viz. Equipment, Manpower-Material, customer support etc.

Ensure adherence to project process map

Work closely with PMO and providing all the relevant information of project in terms of Budget, Revenue,

Project efficiency, Risk assessment, etc.

Resource allocation, optimization, deployment, and demobilization plan
Ensure on-time completion & handover of project

Resource allocation, optimization, deployment, and demobilization plan
Timely escalation of risks to senior management

Control (Review)


Ensure on-time submission of progress reports with all stakeholders

Hold Weekly reviews with internal stakeholders - SCM, Design & Production team and monitoring the project progress

Identify risk and communicating with all stakeholders while working on its mitigation plan

Revisit Solution and Design whenever required and drive the changes required

Communicate any update/change to all the internal & external stakeholders with respect to initial Solution/Design

Documentation & coordination for compliance activities along with internal & external stakeholders

Take decision and solving problem analytically & proactively while coordinating with different stakeholder

Monitor Material status and coordinating with SCM for on-time dispatch of materials

Ensure change management process is followed based on scope matrix
Update all the stakeholders for the project status and delay/risk along with its mitigation plan

EHS and Compliance Management


Monitor of site EHS & statutory compliances

Submit HIRA, WMS, etc wherever applicable

Quality management & Process improvement


Monitor adherence to installation quality checks as per IQ/OQ/PQ

Ensure replication of learnings as per previous projects and applicability

Supervise the documentation of the lesson learnt (what went right, what could improve); conduct RCA for the improvement areas and propose preventive actions for future projects.

Review the reports on project learning, Root cause Analysis, Why-Why analysis, Fishbone diagram, etc.

Documentation and handover (Closure)


Ensure on-time completion & handover of project

Sign off Installation & Commissioning certificate as per project schedule
Allocate vendor based on cost and performance

Ensure and facilitate timely handover sign off from the customer i.e., installation and commissioning certificate

Co-ordination with internal stakeholders to frame the final design documents/manuals and handover it to customer, after sales/support team & PMO

Facilitate handover meetings and mail communications to After Sales team for further support

Monitoring & Review

Monitor and review installation and commissioning activities to meet agreed timelines

Monitor the performance with related to accuracy in installation and commissioning and deviations in installation and commissioning

Review team has requisite skill set to perform their task(s)

People Management
