JOB PROFILE : QAQC Engineer

Department : Quality & Safety

Responsibilities

To assist QHSE-Manager in establishing, implementing and monitoring the companies QHSE Management System.

Continually assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the established Companys Integrated Management System

Identify gaps and potential non-conformities in the management system and initiate necessary root cause analysis and corrective measures.

To support Divisional and Departmental Managers, Supervisors and workers in all aspects of Quality

Assurance related to the companys products and services.

Performing internal system audits as per the established audit plan.

Maintain an orderly, controlled and systematic way of the Companies Quality, Health, Safety and environment Documentation

Plan and perform external audits on existing and prospective subcontractors and suppliers.

Support QHSE Manager in all aspects of planning, implementing and maintaining the companies Health,

Safety and Environmental policies.

Performing regular QHSE Audits and inspections throughout the companies scope of activities

Conduct follow up audits and inspections to verify corrective actions and preventive actions implemented resulting from non-conformities.

Carry out regular checks relating to quality in the reconditioning process and throughout company.

Supports the Fabrication, Docking and Workshops Departments with technical expertise in welding & cutting applications.

Arrange and liaise with class for re-validation of welders qualification records.

Prepares documentation and conducts preliminary Weld Procedure Qualification, Procedure Qualification

Record Tests and Welder Qualification Tests.

Co-ordinates various NDT methods on repaired components as well jobs regarding testing laboratories.

Interpretation & review of radiographs and archiving of Radiographic films.

Conduct weld & dimensional inspection of various jobs on request and raise reports

Routine checks for system conformance in the companys key processes and support processes.

Any other functions as assigned by QHSE system controller or QHSE Manager
