Job Description: Trading Operations Analyst

Position Overview:

We are partnering with a Global Trading Firm to hire a Trading Operations Analyst with 2-5 years of experience in trading operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in SQL and Python, along with a keen interest in financial markets. You will work closely with the trading teams to ensure smooth operations, data analysis, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily trading operations, including trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation.

- Utilize SQL to extract and analyze trading data, generating reports to identify trends and anomalies.

- Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate operational processes and enhance efficiency.

- Collaborate with trading and risk management teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.

- Assist in the preparation of operational reports and performance metrics for management.

- Maintain accurate documentation of processes and procedures.

- Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing trading operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in trading operations or a similar role.

- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation.

- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data analysis and automation.

- Familiarity with trading platforms and financial instruments is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
