Join our client, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and financial services platform, seeking a Trade Operations Associate. You'll be part of the Quant Trading team responsible for managing risks and implementing trading strategies for various crypto products. As a Trading Operations Associate, you'll streamline processes to facilitate the growth of the trading business.

Responsibilities:

• Provide trade support to the trading desks, performing trade bookings, trade matching, balance and position reconciliations, and P&L attributions.
• Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, delays, and other problems presented throughout the trade life cycle.
• Perform fund operations and settlement checks.
• Liaise with Treasury and other external parties on fund transfer matters.
• Streamline and document the funding operations workflow, implementing controls to monitor and optimize funding usage.
• Analyze trading performance vs working capital usage, devising appropriate funding allocation methodologies across trading strategies using a systematic, data-driven approach.
• Assist in ad hoc/urgent requests from the trading desks relating to trade bookings or funding requests.
• Engage with developers on projects that further enhance system infrastructure and controls.

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or Quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of working experience on the Trading floor or in relevant functions such as Middle Office, Product Control or Risk in a financial services or crypto trading firm
• Have knowledge in SQL and Python and an interest to expand your technical skills
• Logical with strong analytical skills, detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy while able to grasp the big picture
• Positive and proactive with good problem-solving skills
