Senior UX Designer
Job Description:
The User Experience Group comprises some 200 researchers, designers, and developers globally. The Group delivers user-centred design and strategic initiatives across the firm; from client-facing applications to tools and software for front-office sales and trading, middle and
back-office operations and analysis, infrastructure, data and the broader employee and enterprise experience.
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to help us deepen UX coverage across the Institutional Securities Group. You will lead efforts related to enhancing digital experience for core business areas in partnership with multidisciplinary teams from the firms technology and business divisions.
As a Senior UX Designer, you should have experience across the end-to-end product design cycle, including user research, journey maps, wireframes, through to delivery of final designs. You will develop the strategy for kicking-off new work and establish priorities for deliverables alongside partners in design, business, and technology. You should be confident managing a design team and the expectations of stakeholders alike.
Qualifications:
- An outstanding digital product portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and end user needs
- 5 years of UX Design experience as a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
- Mastery of strategic, hard, and soft UX skills
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field; masters degree is a plus
- Fluency in Figma or equivalent
- You thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and value being on a diverse team that you can bounce ideas off of, get critical feedback from, and unite to mature design thinking in a large organization
- You practice active listening and contribute to in-group situations (i.e. brainstorms, audits, critiques, whiteboard sessions, etc.)
- You have a high tolerance for projects with ambiguity and the ability to set the direction for undefined, complex projects
- You are resilient in the face of obstacles
- You have a relentless desire to validate assumptions and uncover a problems root cause by testing, learning and iterating
- You constantly seek opportunities to evangelize and promote design thinking in a large organization.
