We're seeking a junior backend Java developer with 2+ years experience to join and consult for a leader in the Resorts & Gaming industry. As a key member of the platforms team, the developer will help craft usable, adaptable, reliable, and secure software. As part of an agile team, together you'll navigate complex puzzles to meet the delivery roadmap. You'll also play an important role in driving the company's digital projects to success.

This opportunity is 100% WFH.

The Responsibilities:

• Work together with a medium-sized team to review the current platform for improvements and design & building new systems
• Engineer new functionality to support the company's roadmap
• Maintain production systems and perform root cause analysis of issues to assist in determining the source of problems
• Actively participate in the Scrum process with your own views and ideas.
• Provide testing coverage; unit and integration testing
• Participate in peer design and code reviews
• Contribute to architecture design planning
• Collab with teammates and communicate with the remote team
  
  

Your Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or any other related subject
• 2+ years in working on micro-services / web-based systems
• Experience work in a product-oriented, team-based environment
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks
• Ability to write Unit tests and follow TDD principles
• Good understanding of design patterns, OOP, development methodologies
• Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
