Job Description:
Trading Support Engineer
Our client is quantitative trading firm that focuses on developing a diversified portfolio of sophisticated systematic strategies and innovative tools to achieve high quality, uncorrelated returns across a wide array of crypto assets with an average daily trading volume of over $1B USD, based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive working knowledge of internal systems.
Troubleshoot, identify root causes and proactively suggest solutions and enhancements
Provide timely response and resolution to alerts, queries and issues raised by trading teams
Facilitate onboarding of new accounts and complete setup in relevant trading-related systems
Liaise with other teams and continuously develop innovative ways to improve processes and procedures
Assist with system automation projects
Document detailed procedures, review and enhance existing technical documentation
Requirements:
At least 2 years of trading infrastructure and application support experience
Have a good understanding of financial products
Strong technical skills and interest in technologies such as Python & Linux
Fluency in English & Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with colleagues across different locations
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills, and doesnt settle for mediocrity
Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure in a very fast-paced environment, and be able to adjust the priority of assignments on short notice
Ideally with an advanced degree in STEM
