Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate production network security environments (firewalls, SASE, CASB, Proxies).
• Monitor and oversee security changes across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-prem infrastructures.
• Provide technical network security expertise to cross-functional engineering teams.
• Develop and implement automated and scalable security systems, processes, and controls.
• Collaborate closely with business units, treating security as a business enabler.
• (Senior Role) Mentor junior team members and lead technical security initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network security or engineering. (Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior Network Security Engineer role)
• Strong background in multi-vendor firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) and modern solutions such as SASE, CASB, and Proxies.
• Expert knowledge of Layer 7 firewalls and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Hands-on experience with packet analysis tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud security technologies and data center/colocation environments.
• Coding skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation are an advantage.
