Trading Applications Support Engineer

 Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to internal trading systems, including troubleshooting and identifying root causes and proactively improve solutions and enhancements
  • Timely respond to alerts, queries and issues raised by trading teams and resolve the tickets in a timely manner
  • Facilitate onboarding of new accounts and complete setup in relevant trading-related systems
  • Liaise with other teams and continuously develop innovative ways to improve processes and procedures
  • Assist with system automation projects
  • Document detailed procedures, review and enhance existing technical documentation

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of trading infrastructure and application support experience
  • Strong technical skills and interest in technologies such as Python & Linux
  • Fluency in English & Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with colleagues across different locations
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure in a very fast-paced environment, and be able to adjust the priority of assignments on short notice
  • Ideally with an advanced degree in STEM
