Network Support Engineer

 Job Description:

Join my client, a global telecommunications provider, as part of the Network Support team. You'll utilize your expertise to provide exceptional technical assistance, ensuring seamless operations and empowering our clients around the clock.

As a Network Support Engineer, you'll be primarily responsible for identifying and resolving system and network faults and outages, ensuring a smooth experience for customers around the clock. This is a shift opportunity so you can flex your working hours around your personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Youll work as a team to perform round-the-clock front line duties, investigating network and customer circuit alarms, providing support for maintenance and fault diagnostics.
  • Youll conduct network fault finding tests, ensuring service assurance and restoration for cable system networks.
  • When they arise youll help resolve network problems, maintaining records of remedy actions and carry out routine jobs as per procedures
  • To ensure system readiness youll conduct circuit acceptance tests, and complying with the firms information security and privacy policies.

Requirements:

  • High diploma or degree in Electronic/Information Technology Engineering, or a higher certificate in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
  • Candidates with 5 subjects pass in HKCEE or 5 subjects pass in HKDSE including English, with experience in IT desk support, are welcome to apply
  • Fresh graduates whove graduated in IT/electrical engineering are welcome to apply.
  • 1+ years experience in IT customer services.
  • Good knowledge of Datacom equipment and telecom services is required.
  • Proficiency in Putonghua is advantageous.
