My client, a leading financial services provider in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Lead Java Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of a greenfield Post-Trade Systems. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned IT professional with significant experience in critical application systems on Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead system development and project implementation efforts, including business requirement analysis, resource management, application development, and documentation.
• Design and develop systems using modern technologies, such as Cloud solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with various IT teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide production system support and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and guide a team of software developers in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
• Undertake additional assignments and projects as directed by management.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, databases, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, and shell scripting.
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and documentation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
