We've partnered with an established financial group undergoing a major tech modernization across its regional business units.

They are hiring a Senior Data Engineer in Hong Kong to own the redesign of complex relational data schemas. You'll bridge business logic and core engineering to build scalable structures powering downstream AI, publishing, and client platforms.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

• 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲: Must be based in Hong Kong with Cantonese/Mandarin fluency (Chinese speaker preferred).
• 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Requires a proven record designing complex relational schemas from scratch (beyond standard DBA work).
• 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲: Requires hands-on SQL mastery across SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• 𝗫-𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹: Requires strong ability to collaborate with PMs, BAs, and developers to translate business needs into data models.
• 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱: Financial Services or enterprise-scale data exposure highly regarded.
