We are urgently seeking a Manual QA Engineer (Android) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive manual testing of our Android applications, ensuring quality, stability, and performance across various environments.
You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues with exposure to Kubernetes, Linux environments, and CI/CD tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed, end-to-end manual test cases for Android applications.

Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira with clear steps and screenshots.
- Use kubectl commands to monitor the health and status of application pods in various namespaces (dev, staging, etc.).
- Retrieve and analyze logs directly from Kubernetes pods to investigate test failures.
- Verify configuration changes and deployments within the Kubernetes cluster.
- Navigate Linux-based systems via command line to support testing activities.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring a quality perspective is always represented.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or Software Tester.

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience writing detailed and comprehensive test cases and plans.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr).

Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

Understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger).

Basic understanding of Docker and containerized environments.

Experience using monitoring tools (Kubernetes, Grafana) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins) is an advantage.

Willing to travel to Macau twice a week.
