Description:
Our client is seeking a Sales Lead to manage inbound prospective students and families throughout the full consultation and enrolment process. This role is focused on understanding each student's academic goals, advising them on appropriate educational pathways, maintaining a strong sales pipeline, and converting qualified prospects into enrolled students.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling education-related services directly to students or parents and will be comfortable independently managing a high-volume pipeline in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound leads and conduct consultations with prospective students and parents
- Understand each student's academic goals and recommend appropriate medical or dental education pathways
- Manage prospects throughout the full sales cycle, from initial consultation through negotiation and enrolment
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast expected enrolments
- Follow up with prospective students through WhatsApp, email, phone, and other communication channels
- Negotiate with students and parents and close qualified prospects into the program
- Maintain accurate prospect information and activity within the CRM
- Support and oversee email campaigns targeting prospective students
- Coordinate with internal teams to maintain accurate information regarding academic programs and partner institutions
- Keep program and institutional information updated within internal knowledge-management systems
- Independently qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on likelihood to enrol
- Collaborate closely with the wider sales, admissions, and administrative teams
- Travel up to twice per year to meet university partners and support groups of students during relocation
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of directly relevant education sales, student recruitment, admissions, or education consulting experience
- Experience selling services directly to students and/or parents
- Proven experience managing prospects through a full sales process and closing business
- Experience managing a sales pipeline, forecasting, follow-ups, and multiple active opportunities simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently and managing responsibilities in a fully remote environment
- Experience using remote collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Slack, or similar platforms
- Experience using CRM systems and strong general computer skills
- Fluent English
- Minimum high school education
- Availability to work UK business hours
Preferred:
- University degree
- Previous experience working within a startup or fast-growing organization
- Experience in international education, student recruitment, admissions consulting, or study-abroad services
- Experience independently managing a high-volume inbound sales pipeline
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed enrolment or sales targets
