About the job Diagnostic Electrician
As a journeyman level electrician duty include, but are not limited to the removal, repair and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting. Perform safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction Perform preventive maintenance, installation and repair of industrial electrical equipment (i.e. substations, power distribution systems, switchgear motors, motor controls, systems and components, assist with troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Install, Maintain, and Troubleshoot AC Motors
Install, Maintain, and Troubleshoot Motor Control and Power Distribution.
Aerial Work Platforms.
Knowledge of Analytical Troubleshooting Techniques.
Install, Maintain, and Troubleshoot Electrical Equipment
Safe and proper use of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Tools.
Install, Maintain, and Troubleshoot Lighting controls and equipment
Demonstrated understanding of PLC hardware
Demonstrated understanding of OHM law
Demonstrated ability to install and maintain low voltage circuits
Demonstrated ability in conduit installation
Demonstrated understanding of working at heights and ladder safety
NFPA 70E Training
Basic Math & Trig.
Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
